And in the beginning....

Starting a blog about my family has often crossed my mind...but yet I always kind of wondered what we did that might be of interest to anyone else but us!  But as I realize as my kids are getting older and starting school, that these short times in life (that at times can also feel like they last forever) are what keep Andrew and me going forward.  I've often tried to capture funny things that happen to us in a journal that I have for each of the kids.  And although they may not be very noteworthy to others, they make Andrew and me take a break from hectic lives and giggle.  And who knows?  Maybe they can do the same for someone else, too!  So, welcome to our extraordinarily happy, ordinary lives!
