As my kids continue to get older, the holidays likewise continue to get more fun! Fall is my favorite season, with two awesome holidays. There are also so many fun things to do during this time. Dude, I tell ya--having kids is really just an excuse to continue to do stuff that others would otherwise looking at your strangely for doing as an adult on your own. Here are some of our outings!
| Bekah and Jacob having a "duck race" by pumping water as fast as they could at a Fall Festival. They LOVED that! |
| Daddy is also having a good time racing Jacob |
| This was a big "pillow" coming out of sand. The kids LOVED it as well. |
| Of course, Andrew had to show off his shooting skills to the kids...using pumpkins as ammunition against unsuspecting scarecrows in a field.... |
| We do not promote gender biases, and so Bekah also learns to shoot. |
| Making caramel apples is something I've always wanted to do. I am TOTALLY doing this again! The kids had a blast decorating them. Can you guess which ones they did???...probably not, since, as Andrew pointed out, they all look pretty sad.... |
| YUM! |
| Oh my gosh, this thing TOTALLY made me laugh. I was leaving the parking garage at my work late one night, and came across this little guy hanging out in the stairwell on one of the levels. I actually had to stop my car to take a picture, I was so happy about it! I love total randomness. I can only guess it's a bat made out of a broom, sweatshirt, and other every day items. I totally love my work!!! |
| And, of course, I had to make Andrew his favorite...pumpkin puffs with homemade cream cheese frosting. They turned out great! |
